Plastic Systems — dryers and dosing
Correctly dried and dosed material is the starting point for consistent part quality — moisture left in the granulate causes surface defects and mechanical weakness, while inaccurate dosing throws off blend ratios and colorant consumption. Perotec Systems supplies Plastic Systems (Italy) equipment for material preparation and handling.
The range includes compressed-air and desiccant granulate dryers sized from small workshop hoppers to central drying systems, gravimetric dosing units for precise multi-component blending in extrusion and injection molding, and single-phase loaders for reliable, low-maintenance material conveying from silo or gaylord to the processing machine. Plastic Systems has supplied plastics processors worldwide for over 20 years, with production in Italy, Brazil and China.
Perotec Systems is the Plastic Systems partner for the region — contact us to specify drying capacity or dosing accuracy for your process.

More detailsFrequently Asked Questions
Why is granulate drying important before injection molding?
Hygroscopic polymers (PA, PC, ABS, PET) absorb moisture that causes bubbles, streaks and loss of mechanical properties when melted — proper drying directly reduces scrap.
What is the difference between volumetric and gravimetric dosing?
Volumetric feeders dose by volume and cost less. Gravimetric feeders weigh the material and achieve higher accuracy with automatic correction — saving masterbatch and reducing color variation.
Can dryers and feeders be connected into a central system?
Yes, Plastic Systems equipment integrates into central conveying and drying systems with supervisory software. We design the layout to match your production hall.
